My name is Leslie Copeland and I have been a stylist in the cosmetology industry for 20 years. Hair has been a passion of mine since the age of 9 when I started teaching myself how to cornrow and by the age of 12 would braid my friends and family’s hair for tips. By the age of 15, I begin to work in salons as a shampoo assistant and braider. I graduated high school in 2003 then obtained my cosmetology license in 2006. In 2008, I obtained my senior cosmetology license enabling me to teach my craft to an apprentice. From that point, I continued to learn by attending shows and industry education as well as learning from other stylist. The artistry of hair and how it is capable of transforming has always been one of my favorite aspects of being a stylist. Healthy hair is my passion. The greatest reward for me as a stylist is when your expectations for your style have been exceeded and you are genuinely satisfied with service.
